Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Induction

After being spurned for three consecutive years, AC/DC is inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Ceremonies are held at the Waldorf-Astoria hotel in New York, and fellow inductees include The Clash, Elvis Costello, The Police and The Righteous Brothers.

Bon Scott & The Valentines Cause Riot

The Valentines and their lead singer Bon Scott play a show at Alexandra Gardens that ends in a riot. Bon's bandmate Vince Lovegrove was charged with assault for booting a police officer off the stage.
